FOLLOW-UP RESEARCH

Keep asking why

Do not just read the report. Question it.

Ask follow-up questions, challenge the findings, test new ideas, compare changes, investigate drawdowns and loss clusters, and keep digging until you understand what is really driving your results.

The beta helps us learn how traders actually use this continuing research process before we finalize paid plans.

How the investigation works

We follow the evidence instead of throwing every research engine at you at once.

BackTest Forensics first figures out where your strategy or trading process actually needs help. A new manual trader may need to establish whether a repeatable setup exists. A mature automated strategy may already have an edge and need deeper work on drawdowns, market conditions, or structure.

1

Find the real problem

We start with the simplest explanation supported by your results: edge, execution, risk, timing, or another clear source of trouble.

2

Ask the next useful question

We explain what we found and point to the next question that would actually move the investigation forward.

3

Go deeper only when it matters

Market regime, structure, GEX and other advanced research come in when the evidence says they are relevant—not just because the data exists.

Beta terms

Free now does not mean the service will always be free.

The beta is free so we can gather real usage data, improve the research workflow, understand processing costs, and learn which parts of the service traders value most. Pricing may change after the beta.

During the beta: ask real questions, challenge the analysis, and tell us when something is useful—or when it misses the mark. That feedback is part of what the beta is for.
